Digital Library “Old Printed Books”: digital repository of European rarities.

Self Description: Maksymovych scientific library proudly presents online digital repository of books printed in XV-XVIII century, which is kept in the library fund. The total amount of old printed books in library fund is about 7000 items. Work on their digitization is going on.

The Electronic Library of Ukrainian Literature
The Electronic Library of Ukrainian Literature provides free access to electronic texts of Ukrainian literature to all readers, particularly to students outside Ukraine, where texts are often difficult to obtain. Eventually, if funding allows, the library will grow to include translations and author biographies, bibliographies, and other secondary materials pertinent to Ukrainian literature, in both English and Ukrainian. At the moment, resources allow for only a modest project to digitize classic texts of Ukrainian prose.

The Ukrainian Poetry Library
This portal provides access to full texts of Ukrainian poetry from the 17th-19th centuries, poetry of the 20th century, and works by contemporary poets. The website is up-to-date and easy to search. Search by author and by period.


Self Description: This web-site is the most complete internet library of Ukrainian poetry. It contains more than 15,000 pages of poetry and songs in Ukrainian (about 30 Mb). It includes the works of classical Ukrainian poets such as Taras Shevchenko, Ivan Franko, Pavlo Tychyna, Volodymyr Sosiura, as well as modern poets — Lina Kostenko, Mykola Vinhranovsky, Pavlo Hirnyk, Yuri Andrukhovych. Most of the modern works are included with approval of respective copyright holders. We strive to achieve 100% copyright conformance.
